Rules of Play
- The format for 2010 is a Triple Knockout with a championship
round.
- Games will be played under the current rules of the Canadian
Curling Association.
- All games, including finals, will be eight ends.
- Last rock in the first end and rock colours in all games, except
the championship final, shall be determined by a coin toss in the
traditional manner.
- Ties will be broken by an extra end or ends, played toward the
main viewing area.
- Before their first game, both teams shall have a short practice
time of one rock down, one rock back for each player. No other
practice times are permitted except before the games in the
Championship and Consolation Rounds on Sunday.
- In the championship final, teams shall have the option of
choosing a full set of rocks from any sheet. Following the coin
toss, the team without hammer will have first choice of rocks and
colour.
- In the case of a dispute that cannot be resolved on the ice
between teams, an umpire will be available to make a ruling. Please

- All teams winning prizes are asked to remain at the club so that
cheques may be presented and photographs taken.

Use of Spares
- Any player registered with a team in this event may NOT spare
for any other team at any time
- Anyone not registered with a team for this event may:
- spare as many times as they wish for any number of teams
during the event except during the championship round
- spare ONLY for ONE team (as many times as they wish) during
the championship round
- A team must play with at least 2 players registered with the
team at all times
